From the positions of the church steeples in the background and the sign on the building across the street, urban renewal on Ashland Street. Location appears to be on a portion of Ashland Street now occupied by KMart.
I agree, except for the small tower visible just left of the telephone pole. This suggests to me that it's a little further north on Ashland Street, perhaps where Nassif's is now.
