If a local picture, probably the summit of Mount Greylock, since the vegetation is consistent with that elevation. Randy photographed the summit of Greylock over many winters.

The last year, dad drove Uncle Randy and us "girls" up the mountain for photos. Pretty sure that's me just wandering around feeling very cold.

Because I had an interest in photography, a teacher arranged for me to spend a workday with Randy. We started at 5am in the freezing darkness. After a doughnut,(Randy ate chocolate glazed, 2 at a time, stacked and eaten like a sandwich)we took a terrifying ride up the snow covered road to the top of Greylock in his Jeep. He wasn't terrified, but I was. The sun came up and Randy took a silhouette of me looking over a sea of low lying clouds below the summit. That photo ended up in the paper that night. This was another of the shots he took while we were there.
