This picture was taken before the small steeple (located on the corner of Main and Eagle Streets) was removed from the First Baptist Church. I believe the steeple was removed some time in the mid to late 50's.

Could be in the late 40's or early 50's Street light poles were replaced in the 50.s, also the cars look like late 40's models.
