|  Comments... THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN AT THE NORTH ADAMS FIRE STATION. FROM THE LEFT IS PETE FIELDS, BILL ROBERTS AND BILL GOMEAU. IT WAS TAKEN AROUND THE TIME OF THE FIREMANS BALL IN NORTH ADAMS. THE CHAIN WAS USED TO SECURE THE UNION SHIELD FROM BEING STOLEN BY THE FIREFIGHTERS FROM ADAMS. EVERY YEAR EACH DEPARTMENT TRIED TO OUTDO EACH OTHER BY BORROWING SOMETHING FROM EACH OTHERS DEPARTMENT AND SHOWING UP WITH IT AT THEIR FIREMANS BALL!!
