On second thought, I don't think that is the Congregational Church on route 2. Background is all wrong and the steeple is different. Anyone???

First Congregationl Church in Williamstown again. This time it looks a little tipsey. Must have been the angle of the shot.

It looks as if this is another photo with the negative reversed. The church in the foreground looks to me like the Williamstown Congregational, and the one in the background like Thompson Memorial Chapel. I suspect that if the photo were flipped horizontally, we would be looking east along the north side of Route 2.

OK, if this is the First Congregational Church on R2, has the picture been reversed somehow. I say this because the next steeple looks like Thompson Memorial Chapel and that appears before the church on route 2, not after. If this picture was correct, we would see the church and then the driveway to Baxter Hall. This looks like the church, Hopkins Hall and then the chapel which is reversed from the way it actually is.
