This was the first Drury/Adams game in the 1968-1969 season. Adams had a strong team that year and was heavily favored. Drury, coming off a 2-16 year the previous season, was unheralded. However, the Blue Devils turned in a steller performance in this game and never looked back as they went through the Northern Berkshire League undefeated that season and next, a 26-0 two season record that still probably stands. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN THE 1969-1970 SEASON IN WHICH CASE IT WOULD BE ROGER BELLEAU IN THE PICTURE, SINCE AL SKROCKI PLAYED BOTH YEARS AS WELL. THE PLAYER ON THE FLOOR COULD HAVE BEEN STANLEY BOOTH. Roger Belleau on his way to stealing the ball for the Blue Devils on their way to another Northern Berkshire League triumph. The two year total for victories (1969 & 1970) in the league would grow to 26 in a row (and two undefeated seasons) against league opponents. I assume this record still stands.
