That is my mother, Virginia (Chickie)Luczynski (Bostwick) standing in the middle. The picture was taken during the flood of 1948/1949 when they were forced to evacuate. They lived on Loftus street then but the picture was not taken at home. My mother did a research project on the flood when she was attending classes at North Adams State College.
