Former North Adams railroad station.

Hoosic river overflowing. Perhaps infamous 1930's flood? Seeing that station brings back a memory of when I took a train through the Hoosic Tunnel to greenfield in 1956 to see my girlfriend who had moved from N.A.

BEFORE THE FLOOD CONTROL PROGECT.THIS AREA INCLUDING ASHLAND ST.WERE HIT QUITE BAD.MY FATHER HAD THE KAISER-FRAZER AGCY.ON ASHLAND STREET,WE HAD FIVE FOOT OF WATER IN THE SHOWROOM.
