Reminds me of the 30s when we walked from the top of Kemp Ave. to Notre Dame School and then from Kenedy Lane, off of Walker St. to Notre Dame. You see, it's not only the mailman than proceeds "In rain, snow or ice", for we of the pre-schoolbus days knew only to well what it took to come through. At Notre Dame you had ti live oner 5 miles away to qualify for a ride on our one school bus driven by Mr. Roberts. Not a pun.
