When the water was very low in mid summer we used to slide down the smooth rock into the pool below. The water in the pool was 10 to 15 feet deep at that point.

This is the famous Bellevue Falls, my sister used to take me here swimming back in the 50's...gorgeous place and you felt real refreshed when you came out of the water.
