Chester Arthur, not MacArthur

Can you name the location?
Rt. 346 North Pownal, Vt Sign is on the lawn of the Congregational Church

The building on the left is the North Pownal Post Office on the left side, and Ritchie Champney's barber shop was on the right side of the same building. President MacArthur and President Garfield helped put Pownal on the map!

rt 346 in Pownal, just before the sharp corner at the post office. heading towards the New York State Border

The sign clearly says Chester Arthur. I don't see anything that alludes to MacArthur.

My children went the the old school, that they taught in. Such a historic building, it's a shame they tore it down to make a ball field.
