A rustic old house, known as the "Allen Dance Camp" was added on and on and on to. Reminded me of the "Winchester House" in California. Wonderfully peaceful, fun, lovely scenery. Full of life and interesting people all the time. We had occassion to rent the camp from Sept. 1982 thru April 1983. Gail and Dennis hosted our wedding reception there in October 1983. Although it was a cold winter, there were many fond memories and pictures taken. All the people on that mountaintop were very helpful, kind, and friendly. Gail Allen was one of the kindest, sweetest ladies we've ever met, who adored children and shared her love and experience of dance with everyone. A great loss when she passed on in the Spring of 1984. A very special place, the Allen Dance Camp.

I had the good fortune of attending Kevin and Gail's summer camp as a dancer for several years in the 1980s. Those are some of my fondest memories. What a treat to find this beautiful photo of them. Memories of watching "Singin' in the Rain" one rainy afternoon with a bunch of other dancers in the camp office came flooding back.
