Comments...
About 1969 while serving on the board of the Northern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce,I was (with a great deal of help) able to organize what came to be known as the "Breakfasteers in at 8 out at 9" meetings. The meetings were modeled after a similar program held by the Springfield Chamber of Commerce. The first of which was held in January 1969 and the guest speaker was the Exec. Director of the Springfield Chamber,Mr.Paul Greely The purpose of the meetings was two fold,To pay tribute to individuals and businesses that contributed in a positive way to Northern Berkshire and to present speakers who would by nature of their positions/professions (such as Louise Day Hicks) be informative and interesting to the business community at large. The program enjoyed success due largely to strict adherance to the established time frame ie: start at 8:00am and end promptly at 9:00am thus allowing the members time to get to their respective businesses at a reasonable time. This is probably more verbiage than you bargained for but I couldn't resist a trip down memory lane.I knew Randy well and I think your efforts to relive his many Photos is a great idea, good luck.
